Sweden Coast Guard discovery: Wind turbine blade in the sea

The Coast Guard and the Smögen Sea Rescue Society were given an unusual salvage mission last week. An unknown object was drifting out to sea.

Its size made it a danger to shipping. A salvage operation was therefore launched and the object was towed to Guleskär.

There it was determined that it was probably a blade from a wind turbine, the Coast Guard writes on its social media.
