An exclusion zone has been established around the farm due to a risk of the burnt turbine collapsing.
Most wind turbines stand around 150m tall with blades ranging between 40m and 90m long.
Firefighters have already extinguished several spot fires caused by fallen debris.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established but will be investigated once the damaged turbine can be safely dismantled.
Firefighters are expected to remain on scene for some time while the head of the turbine continues to burn out. The estimated damage amount of the impacted turbine is $2.2 million.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
