Margree backers set for council talks

Meanwhile, North British Windpower Ltd are involved in another battle over a windfarm project in the Scottish Borders.

A 62-turbine development in the Lammermuir Hills was rejected by councillors.

But plans have since been revised and now 48 turbines would sit on the site at Fallago Rig.

Planning officers at Scottish Borders Council planning officers have urged members to offer no objection to the proposal.
