Shire to air wind farm woes to Madden

Mayor Pat Toohey says the council voted unanimously last night to write to Planning Minister Justin Madden to express its disappointment. He says the shire's residents have concerns about the farms which the State Government did not take into account.


The Moorabool Shire will continue its opposition to a Victorian Government decision to approve two wind farms there.

The Government approved the farms earlier this week and one of them includes 107 turbines.
