Wind turbine article was biased

At 1.4mw, it is maximum size, industrial class; it is intended to generate electricity for ARC for use and to sell for profit. Large as the Provincetown Monument, it has a blinking red light and emits noise and vibrations. Town Meeting in Dennis already voted to place turbines in five designated areas, not beaches.

DENNIS - On Oct.13 there was a full page containing two articles on the proposed ARC Wind Turbine planned for Chapin Beach in Dennis and Gray's Beach (Bass Hole) in Yarmouth Port.
The article, as well as previous articles in The Register, has a strong bias in favor of the wind turbine. By not fully understanding and presenting both sides, you do a disservice to your readers and especially to people who live in Yarmouth, most of whom do not realize that this large turbine will be in the middle of our one north side beach.

Dennis has five beaches to our one on the north side; more than a beach, Bass Hole is a recreational and tourist area and a place of quiet beauty for residents to appreciate. The regional Old King's Highway District Commission, charged with preserving the aesthetic values of this district, denied the turbine, recognizing that it is not suitable in this area.
Gray's Beach at Bass Hole is shaped by the tides into a sandy semi-circle with north and south sides. The beach and boardwalk are on the south side in Yarmouth, the wind turbine is sited on the north side in Dennis. People enjoying the beach will now be looking directly into the turbine.

Town Meeting in Dennis already voted to place turbines in five designated areas, not beaches. An example of a good placement is the Country Garden turbine. It is in the back corner of their lot, away from direct visual patterns, in a business area with streets and trees around it.
Caretakers are a good word for Cape Codders. Aware of God's fragile planet in all its life forms including our own, we save what we can, protect what we value, and share with our friends our favorite places.
Our jewel is Bass Hole; recently we met a group of families that were having a cookout and playing volleyball; another large group was at the end of the boardwalk celebrating a wedding. There must be a solution for everyone. There are indeed "alternatives" to alternative energy.
