Last month, the FAA released its finding that the proposed Nantucket Sound wind farm would not be a hazard to air navigation.
The Alliance, which opposes the 130 wind turbine project, argues the FAA decision "ignored the warnings of airplane pilots, airport commissions and airline owners."
Audra Parker, president and CEO of the Alliance, said, "It is one thing to ignore the public's opposition to Cape Wind, it is another altogether to ignore public safety."

Last month, officials from Barnstable Municipal Airport and the two island airports signed a joint letter to the FAA stating that the "fixes" employed in wind turbines elsewhere to ensure air traffic safety would not work in Nantucket Sound, according to an Alliance press release.
