...and two against

When the turbines started up near her home, in Shelburne, Ont., Helen Fraser suffered severe health effects. ...The latest ad from Sky-Power [a developer of renewable energy projects], states: "In over 25 years and with more than 68,000 turbines installed around the world, no member of the public has ever been harmed by wind turbines." ...So who is telling the truth?

When the turbines started up near her home, in Shelburne, Ont., Helen Fraser suffered severe health effects. Her head and body ached, her ears rang, her digestion suffered and she experienced chronic fatigue. After 18 months of suffering, she and her husband were forced to move out of their home. The latest ad from Sky-Power [a developer of renewable energy projects], states: "In over 25 years and with more than 68,000 turbines installed around the world, no member of the public has ever been harmed by wind turbines."

It seems confusing until you follow the money trail. SkyPower must deny Ms. Fraser's reality. It must deny the reality of 22 citizens groups in Ontario. If the corporations were to admit the truth of Wind Turbine Syndrome, it would mean locating the turbines at least two kilometres from homes, schools, hospitals, businesses, cottages, etc. And this would seriously damage profits.

So who is telling the truth? The wind company trying to sell turbines? Or the woman who had to leave her home?
