"NextEra is a partner in this effort and is working with the Air Force to identify solutions. The Clearinghouse and the Air Force will coordinate the progress with both Federal and State authorities, although any prediction of the outcome is premature.”

WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) - Hinton, Oklahoma, just west of Oklahoma City, has been sued by a wind energy group to build wind turbines in their town because of an ordinance they passed that they thought was unconstitutional.
If the certificates are not extended, it’s possible the developer would have to restart the lengthy application process for the project. Attorneys for Everpower Wind Holdings, the developer, argued the projects have been fought in the courts for about eight years.
