Meeting to address Alternative Energy Sources

The Ashtabula County Citizens for Open Government will meet 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 5 at the Henderson Library in Jefferson. The subject this month is "Alternative Energy Sources."

John Parker, well known in the county and a contributor of regular newspaper articles, will discuss fuels using our locally available products - ethanol, bio-diesel, etc. John Casalina, the village administrator for Rock Creek, will offer insight into wind turbines, or windmills as we know them, for generating electricity. It seems some parts of our county are good locations for them. This will be a very informative meeting.

The Ashtabula County Citizens for Open Government is a non-partisan group working for the betterment of Ashtabula County. All are welcome. Please come, and bring a friend.
