A construction worker at the Beaver Creek II wind farm who was injured Friday afternoon returned to work Saturday, according to information provided by Mortenson Construction, contractor for the project.
The Greene County sheriff, deputies, Grand Junction rescue and Greene County EMS were called to a site on X Ave near 210th St Friday at 4:22 pm for a worker who had fallen.
According to Mortenson public relations representative Cameron Snyder, the worker had fallen inside a tower section and needed medical attention. He was taken to an area hospital and returned to work the next day.
“Safety on Mortenson projects is our number one priority and we are reviewing this incident carefully,” Snyder said.
