LA City Council signs off on energy contract in Wyoming

LOS ANGELES The Los Angeles City Council has signed off on a 16-year contract to buy energy from a wind farm in Wyoming.


According to a city D-W-P report, the contract with the Pleasant Valley Wind Energy Center is worth between 236 (m) million dollars and 280 (m) million dollars, depending on how much energy is purchased.

The L-A- Water and Power Commission approved the plan in June.
