A reward is being offered for vandalism of wind turbines at Mason County's Lake Winds Energy Park, the Ludington Daily News is reporting. Details of the vandalism wasn't immediately known.


MASON COUNTY, MI - A reward is being offered for vandalism of wind turbines at Mason County's Lake Winds Energy Park, the Ludington Daily News is reporting.

Details of the vandalism wasn't immediately known, but the Daily News has reported a $2,500 reward is being offered for information about the vandalism.

The vandalism was discovered at the site in Mason County where a Consumers Energy wind turbine is being built.

The unit of CMS Energy Corp. is offering the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the damage.

Area residents are being asked to call 911 or Consumers Energy at 800-760-3295, with information.
