The more we delve into the massive wind farm proposed by the Wind Capitol Group for Smelser Township, the more our concern grows. Smelser Township is too thickly populated. The land is rich farmland and produces wonderful crops. It would be a shame to ruin it. It should be strictly agriculture.

Smelser Township is too thickly populated. The land is rich farmland and produces wonderful crops. It would be a shame to ruin it. It should be strictly agriculture.
There are also health and safety issues involved, such as sleeplessness because of the flicker and shadows, noise similar to jets flying overhead, stomachache and headache. Some folks become weak, dizzy, disoriented and one woman had to leave her home to find relief.
Radio and TV reception also is affected. A party in Fond du Lac was told it could have only one radio in the house.
Property decreases in value, emergency helicopters will not land within the perimeter of the wind turbines. Bats are destroyed, hence insect population increases. Livestock is affected. Chickens quit laying and when they resume, the shells are so thin they start eating them, therefore you have no eggs.
Folks try to sell their land and no one wants it because of noise. Property owners, take heed.
Should one of those turbines malfunction and someone is hurt or something is damaged while on your property, you are totally responsible for any lawsuits that might occur. The wind people take no responsibility whatsoever.
Does this seem like a winner to you? Think again.
