I have discovered through public disclosure the proposed location of the Shirley and Ray Horns wind turbine next to our church. The Horns’ turbine will cause shadow and flicker effect, disrupting our service. Research shows that ice freezing on the blades is thrown 1,800 feet at 170 miles per hour with shorter turbines. The location of this turbine and its greater height, I believe, would have it smashing ice into the stained glass windows and onto the roof.

The statement was made by one of the council that we cannot say, “What if?” What if? will eventually happen.
