Description:

This photo of the Laurel Mountain Wind Project located Northwest of Elkins, WV shows a closer view of the construction site. AES Corporation's 61-turbine project (total nameplate capacity of 125 megawatts) was approved in 2008 by the WV PSC under substantial protest by residents in the county.
