Wind power project criticized
A public hearing for the Westfield-Ripley Wind Power Project will be held at Meeders Restaurant in Ripley, N.Y., on Tuesday at 7 p.m. This meeting concerns all of us. It concerns our land, our natural resources and our quality of life. If we don't protect these things by being informed and speaking out, no one else will.

I hope that those who attended either meeting given by the wind developer, Pattern Energy, before the public hearings will realize that their purpose is not truly educational or realistic. For any wind developer, a project like this is basically about making money,... [continue via Web link]
