Wind in your backyard
I am not sure what the developers thought they would find in regard to building 330 to 420 foot high wind turbines on our ridge lines, but I welcome a process that is comprehensive and complete.

On March 17, the Vermont House Natural Resources and Energy Committee took testimony from Wind Developers, the Commissioner of the Department of Public Service and a representative of Burlington Electric.
The hearing was called as a result of the Public Service Board's hearing officer's recommendation that the PSB deny the application to site four wind turbines in East Haven.
The attending Wind Developers represented the Glebe Mountain project in Londonderry and Windham, the Deerfield Valley project in Searsburg, the East Haven project and the UPC project in Sutton and Sheffield.
