Awestruck by (current) shining night sky
Thankfully an informed electorate is telling our powers that be to look elsewhere for answers to our electrical needs.

I awoke at 1:30 Friday morning. Maybe the heater cycled on, but I was struck by how dark it was. Perhaps we're getting some snow I thought, so I went to my window and was awestruck by the myriad of stars shining over dark Stratton and Glebe mountains. Guess the moon was a late riser but I was quite happy the ridges weren't exploited by dozens of flashing red beacons.
