How does a prominent politician or political party manoeuvre a very sharp U-turn? A planning approval U-turn was executed by the UK Government rejection of a massive wind farm proposal at Whinash, Cumbria, in the English Lake District.
The area where the wind farm was proposed had the M6 motorway and a main railway line already running through it.
This opens up a whole can of worms in the wind farm battles up and down this land of ours, Wales. Or does the UK Government regard the Welsh mountains and hills as less beautiful than their English counterparts?... [continue via Web link]
