It seems at this point that Garrett County's picturesque mountain ridges will ultimately be blighted by giant wind turbines, but until construction actually gets under way, this column will continue to be utilized from time to time to rail against them.
Our very own Governor O'Malley, who supports turbines in Garrett County, actually committed a couple of faux pas - probably without even realizing it - just last night on a Baltimore television station.
