DO WE have to imagine what it would be like to live in such an idyllic place as an area of outstanding natural beauty or as a national park? No, we actually do live between the two!
To the north the great panorama of the Solway Firth and Scotland and to the south the Lakeland fells.
Visitors say that if they lived here they would never go on holiday. We should be proud that we live in the most beautiful county in England.
