A stakeholder's group has unveiled a model ordinance that will help Pennsylvania's local governments decide how to direct the location and development of wind energy projects within municipal borders.
The Upper Dauphin Twp. supervisors are looking to regulate wind energy turbines, but the company considering building a turbine in the township is worried about a proposed height limit.

BEAR CREEK TWP. – The proposed addition of nine massive wind turbines around Crystal Lake would prevent nature lovers from accessing public land, according to testimony at a zoning hearing on Tuesday.
Opponents and supporters of the Penobscot Mountain Wind Farm in Bear Creek Township will continue to outline their arguments tomorrow night at 7 p.m.
