THE date for the appeal hearing for a controversial wind farm plan between Burnham and Brent Knoll has been announced.
The four day hearing will be held on August 7 at 10am in the Princess Hall in Burnham.
The appeal is in relation to a planning application, submitted by Ecotricity, to build five wind turbines on the site. The application was originally rejected by Sedgemoor District Council, but Ecotricity lodged an appeal against the decision in December.
The appeal hearing will include representations from campaign group kNOll to Wind Farm, Brent Knoll Parish Council, Burnham and Highbridge Town Council and Sedgemoor District Council.
