Wind farm opponents prepare to fight
Palmerston North City Council didn't seem interested in discussing the possible disadvantages of wind farms with those who lived closest to the turbines, said Motorimu campaigner Sue Stewart yesterday.

About 40 opponents of the Motorimu Wind Farm held what she described as a productive discussion yesterday during part of which they prepared for a meeting with Mayor Heather Tanguay on Thursday.
The group has also prepared submissions for local MPs Steve Maharey and Simon Power.
