Wind farm campaigners step up fight
CAMPAIGNERS fighting proposals to build a wind farm on the outskirts of Penicuik have stepped up their battle against the plans by launching a protest website.

The Penicuik Environmental Protection Association (PEPA) has been formed by local residents who want to protect Auchencorth Moss from the massive wind farm planned by the German energy conglomerate E.ON UK.
The group believes that the proposed site, which is one of Scotland's few remaining raised peat bogs, will be irreversibly damaged by the industrial development.
