Haddon wind farm scrapped
WIND Power Pty Ltd has scrapped a proposal for a wind farm near Haddon saying the project was not economically viable.

Steve Buckle, managing director of Wind Power, yesterday confirmed that the development, known as the Bo Peep Wind Farm, would not proceed.
The news came the day after the Haddon and Cardigan Landscape Guardians held a three-hour public meeting at Haddon Primary School to oppose the development.
Mr Buckle said initial studies had identified that residential growth in the area would limit the size of the development.
"We had identified an area near Haddon with the potential for 14 turbines, however, further standard studies showed that the site was better suited to three or four turbines," Mr Buckle said.
