Tory energy critic Vic Fedeli is calling for a moratorium on further wind power development in Ontario.
Health Canada yesterday announced a study into the relationship between wind turbine noise and health effects reported by nearby residents.
The results of the study are expected to be released in 2014.
Fedeli says the fact the federal government feels this study is necessary is reason enough to put a halt to any more wind turbines being built in Ontario.
