Legislator pushes for increased regulations on wind turbines
State Sen. Frank Lasee, R-Ledgeview, says low-frequency noise from wind turbines causes a variety of health problems, and says the Public Service Commission needs to enact new rules to protect the health of those living near turbines.

Lasee presses Public Service Commission to take action
A state lawmaker is challenging a group to increase its regulations for wind turbines.
State Sen. Frank Lasee, R-Ledgeview, says low-frequency noise from wind turbines causes a variety of health problems, and says the Public Service Commission needs to enact new rules to protect the health of those living near turbines.
"It's time for the PSC to admit the current rules are not good enough," Lasee said in a news release. "We will hand them independent research that raises legitimate concerns."
