The proposal to install a wind turbine at the Aquaculture Research Corp. has turned into a bit of a border skirmish.
The town of Yarmouth is petitioning Orleans District Court to be allowed to argue against the turbine in a lawsuit filed by ARC. The town filed its motion last week.
"We're direct abutters," Yarmouth Town Counsel Bruce Gilmore said.
The turbine is proposed for beachfront property at the ARC shellfish hatchery in Dennis, just across Chase Garden Creek from Yarmouthport.
