Hope to discuss ordinance proposals
According to the proposed ordinance, neighboring municipalities have recently received inquiries about the possibility of locating a wind power development within their territorial limits and Hope could be under threat of development pressure from wind power developments.

A public hearing will be held Tuesday, May 24 to give Hope residents more information about five referendum questions that will appear on the ballot at June's town meeting.
The hearing will be held at 7 p.m. at the town office.
One question will ask whether residents wish to enact a moratorium ordinance on wind power development.
