Petitions have been filed for wind vote
Huron County Clerk Peggy Koehler announced two petitions were submitted Friday morning to have the two new zoning districts county officials approved last month put on the November ballot for a vote of the people.

BAD AXE - Huron County Clerk Peggy Koehler announced two petitions were submitted Friday morning to have the two new zoning districts county officials approved last month put on the November ballot for a vote of the people.
Koehler said the first petition seeks a ballot referendum on the zoning ordinance amendment that creates a wind energy overlay district in Bloomfield, Rubicon and Sigel townships. This petition had 977 signatures, she said.
The second petition seeks a ballot referendum on the zoning ordinance amendment that creates a wind energy overlay district in McKinley Township, Koehler said. This petition had 960 signatures,... [continue via Web link]
