Scandia presents wind farm plan to Grand Haven

GRAND HAVEN TOWNSHIP - Before the winds of change blow and wind turbines are constructed on the Lake Michigan horizon, Scandia Wind Offshore LLC officials promise Lakeshore residents they will do their homework first.
At a public information meeting held Wednesday night at Grand Haven High School, Scandia representative Harald Dirdal said the project needs to be based on documented facts, not "fear."
"We want to find the facts because there are no facts out there today," he said.
These facts, he said, would help representatives from the Minnesota-based wind development company in its quest to construct a 500-megawatt wind farm 6 miles... [continue via Web link]
