Eliot residents disappointed with wind turbine results
The Eliot residents who installed expensive wind turbines in Eliot one year ago are not too crazy about the small amount of electricity generated at their homes in the time since.
Of the three residents who installed the wind turbines last year, John Sullivan has the windiest location but would not recommend the technology. He said he was disappointed that his wind turbine generated only 600 kilowatt hours of electricity over the past year.
The average household in America consumes 10,656 kilowatt hours per year.
