Wind turbines inquiry hears of residents' anger
Villagers have urged a Government planning inspector to reject proposals for two 125 metre high wind turbines on their doorstep.
The appeal was made at a public inquiry into controversial plans by Broadview Energy for the turbines between the villages of Hilton and Seamer, near Yarm.

Villagers have urged a Government planning inspector to reject proposals for two 125 metre high wind turbines on their doorstep.
The appeal was made at a public inquiry into controversial plans by Broadview Energy for the turbines between the villages of Hilton and Seamer, near Yarm.
Seamer Parish Councillor Janet Bainbridge said she "represented the majority" of villagers' views in "objecting strongly" to the plans.
She told the planning inspector Elizabeth Fieldhouse that Seamer was a "traditional country village" which was the "gateway from Teesside to the Cleveland Hills and beyond", and boasted "clear air, peaceful countryside and spectacular views".
