Fears energy target to cost jobs
Portland's Keppel Prince is calling on the Opposition's energy spokesman, Nick Minchin, to convince the Federal Government to change the Renewable Energy Target, which it says is threatening jobs.

Portland's Keppel Prince is calling on the Opposition's energy spokesman, Nick Minchin, to convince the Federal Government to change the Renewable Energy Target, which it says is threatening jobs.
Senator Minchin is today visiting the engineering firm, which makes parts for wind farms.
The general manager of Keppel Prince, Steve Garner, says the rapid devaluing of renewable energy certificates is delaying wind farm projects.
He says the scheme must be fixed quickly or he could be forced to sack 150 people.
