Clarendon amends Town Plan
Town planners revised several sections to include comments on protecting ridgelines such as Susie Peak from industrial development.
Planners cautioned in the "wind and hydro" section that "Susie Peak is a historical, geological and recreational area and Clarendon should avoid wind farm development on our few but valued high ridgelines such as Susie Peak."

CLARENDON - Ridgelines and runways get plenty of attention in the updated Clarendon Town Plan as municipal officials complete proposed amendments to the document.
Town planners revised several sections to include comments on protecting ridgelines such as Susie Peak from industrial development.
Planners cautioned in the "wind and hydro" section that "Susie Peak is a historical, geological and recreational area and Clarendon should avoid wind farm development on our few but valued high ridgelines such as Susie Peak."
In another area of the document, the planning commission expanded the conservation district to include fragile and scenic resources.
