The Otter Tail County Board is scheduled hear from a property owner regarding a proposed wind farm near Parkers Prairie.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday in the Government Services Center.
The discussion on the wind farm, proposed by Prairie Wind Energy LLC, is scheduled to take place at 9:45 a.m. The company is proposing to build a 40-turbine wind energy project.
At 9:30 a.m., the board is also set to hear an update on the Minnesota Rural Counties Caucus, to which Otter Tail County belongs.
The board is scheduled to hold a Highway Committee meeting at 10:45 a.m. During Highway business at 11 a.m., the board is expected to hear a request to maintain a facility on the county highway 16 trail.
The board is expected to hear a request for approval for a final plat during Land and Resource at 11:20 a.m.
The county auditor is scheduled to discuss the county's position as the pass-through for funding for West Central Dairy Profit Teams at 11:20 a.m.
The board is expected to hold a closed meeting from 10:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. to discuss labor negotiation strategies. The contracts for four unions are up for renewal at the end of 2009.
