Council seeks proof for forced wind farm administration
The Pyrenees Shire wants legal proof showing that it can be forced to take on the responsibility of monitoring the Waubra wind farm.
The Victorian Government has given the task to the shire, but the shire says it has neither the financial resources or the staff to do it.

The Pyrenees Shire wants legal proof showing that it can be forced to take on the responsibility of monitoring the Waubra wind farm.
The Victorian Government has given the task to the shire, but the shire says it has neither the financial resources or the staff to do it.
Residents near the 128-turbine farm say it emits a low frequency hum that is making them ill.
Shire chief executive Stephen Cornish says he has written a letter of complaint to the Planning Department but has not received a reply.
"I guess there is a lot of risks and obligations that go with the administration of that permit, any follow-up to our letter that we wrote," he said.
