A Washington wind farm that its developer calls “one of the premier wind sites in the Pacific Northwest” has been sold to a group of California utilities.
The first phase of the Windy Point/Windy Flats project near Goldendale, in Klickitat County, was sold to the Tuolumne Wind Project Authority, which includes entities that provide electricity to almost 10,000 customers in central California.
Another California entity is expected to buy Phase II, said the project developer, San Diego-based Cannon Power Group.
