Astronomical cost hold up Lincs wind farm
Astronomical costs have meant the Lincs wind farm planned to go off the coast of Skegness has been postponed by Centrica.
Permission was granted for the 250MW wind farm In November but even since then the company has been looking at ways to get the costs of building it down.

Astronomical costs have meant the Lincs wind farm planned to go off the coast of Skegness has been postponed by Centrica.
Permission was granted for the 250MW wind farm In November but even since then the company has been looking at ways to get the costs of building it down.
Centrica spokesman Andrew Turpin explained: "It has not been stopped. We're continuing to work on the project. The problem we have at the minute is the costs of construction is very high and that's well-known across the industry.
"It's costing about £3 million for every MW capacity to install."
