Wind towers generate hearings
Two public hearings are set for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, in the town office regarding proposed changes to the comprehensive plan and a land-use ordinance that would allow wind-power facilities to be built on Roxbury hills.

Two public hearings are set for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, in the town office regarding proposed changes to the comprehensive plan and a land-use ordinance that would allow wind-power facilities to be built on Roxbury hills.
The hearings will also address repealing the March 3 town meeting vote that OK'd creation of a new mountain-district zone in which wind turbines could be constructed .
The proposals are available at the town office.
