Prattsburgh will soon be scattered with wind turbines. First Wind says they plan to start construction in the spring of next year. The wind farm developer plans on building 36 wind turbines to generate electricity.

Last month, a Steuben County Court Judge dismissed a lawsuit claiming the town supervisor should not have had a say in the project over a conflict of interest.

Some neighbors worry the wind turbines will be too noisy and decrease the value of their properties.
