Uxbridge turbine distracting motorists: resident wants measures taken to protect family, others
UXBRIDGE -- An Uxbridge resident speculates the distraction of a nearby windmill is responsible for his car being rear-ended recently.

Brent Campbell, along with his wife Laura, residents at Regional Road 8 in Uxbridge, told local politicians he believes a new windmill has become a distraction for motorists and likely led to a car smashing into the back of his own vehicle as he pulled into the driveway of their home. The Campbell's nine-year-old son sustained a concussion, but all passengers have recovered, said Mr. Campbell.
"I'm nervous pulling into my driveway right now," he said at the Feb. 6 council meeting. "The conditions were clear that day, it was a dry road."
