Dr. Michael Nissenbaum M.D. submitted this affidavit detailing his study of adverse health impacts from industrial wind turbines before the Rural Municipalities of Martin and Moosomin in the Province of Sasktchewan. The proposed wind project is known as the Red Lily Wind Energy project.
This report, prepared by Acoustics and Noise Control expert Richard D. Horonjeff, explains how turbine noise differs from other types of noises within a community. This important document prepared by Dr. Carl V. Phillips MPP, PhD, was submitted to the Wisconsin Public Service Commission as testimony on whether turbine noise is having an adverse effect on human health.
Mr and Mrs Noel Dean requested a Report providing an assessment of the potential for adverse effects due to activity from the Waubra wind farm while living in their residences and while working on their farms. In the fall of 2009 Dr. Arlene King, Chief Medical Officer of Health for Ontario (CMOH), took on the task of investigating the issue of industrial wind turbines and potential adverse health effects. On May 20, 2010, the Chief Medical Officer of Health of Ontario (CMOH) issued “The Potential Health Impacts of Wind Turbines May 2010” (CMOH Review).

This important letter was submitted to the Commissioner John Auerbach of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health in regard to industrial scale wind turbines being built close to where people live and gather.
Infrasonic sounds are generated internally in the body (by respiration, heartbeat, coughing, etc) and by external sources, such as air conditioning systems, inside vehicles, some industrial processes and, now becoming increasingly prevalent, wind turbines. It is widely assumed that infrasound presented at an amplitude below what is audible has no influence on the ear. In this review, we consider possible ways that low frequency sounds, at levels that may or may not be heard, could influence the function of the ear.

Attorney Edward S. Marion submitted this letter to Wisconsin's State Health Officer and Administrator, Dr. Seth Foldy. The letter, prepared on behalf of Brown County Citizens for Responsible Wind Energy, Inc., provides the Wisconsin Department of Public Health ('DPH') with evidence that wind turbine noise is a threat to human health and asks the DPH to conduct a formal epidemiological study of the health effects of wind turbine noise from existing wind farms in Wisconsin.
These remarks were presented by Dr. Michael Nissenbaum at a press conference held at the Vermont legislature. Dr. Nissenbaum has been documenting the adverse health effects of industrial turbines on residents living near the Mars Hill Maine towers.
