WECC Interconnection queue active requests -- Sep 2007

Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) control area covers the western states of the United States including California, Arizona, portions of Montana, Idaho, Nevada etc. See: http://www.nerc.com/regional/ for a full map of the area.

The WECC control area includes 11,200 MW of proposed wind generation according to the interconnection queue activity last updated Sep 2007. Projects listed in the queue are not guaranteed to be built, but this list serves as an indicator of wind development activity.
