Many area Crestline residents are opposed to the construction of the Black Fork Wind Farm to be built in Crawford and Richland Counties.
Concerned residents gathered Thursday night at the Crestline Public Library to discuss their concerns and the negative impact of wind farms in rural communities.
John Warrington of Crestline said the goal of the meeting is to inform the community about the negative affects of wind farms which include destruction of natural landscape and declines in property values.
The wind farm would stretch from north U.S. 42 to Ohio 103 just west of Ohio 314 just pass Ohio 598.
