They are circling Lyman again
I am asking all the residents in Lyman who do not wish to see massive mechanical structures ruin Lyman's natural beauty to please get on board and reject these industrial monsters.

It was disturbing to see Tim Caffyn from UPC Wind "whatever" (a Massachusetts based company that seems to sprout "branches" in whatever state they target) on the news with respect to the vote in favor of wind farms in the town of Sheffield, Vt. But that's their business, I guess.
Unfortunately, not enough of their residents recognized the deception that was presented. Having sat in on many of the not-so-long-ago meetings in Lyman, I saw it first-hand.
In an article in the Boston Globe dated Dec. 2, titled "Sheffield votes in favor of wind farm," it states that UPC "is pursuing projects in New York, Maine and New Hampshire." I'm sure they are, once again, looking to have their way with us as well. I am asking all the residents in Lyman who do not wish to see massive mechanical structures ruin Lyman's natural beauty to please get on board and reject these industrial monsters. They do not belong in Lyman!
Please help fight the battle to keep Lyman as it is - a picturesque farming community that belongs to the people and their charming way of life. Petitions to this effect are already in the works. Do look for these issues on the ballot in March and vote accordingly. The time to stop them and protect what is precious to us is right now.
